The sniper probably won't leave the aura much, if ever.ġ main Angel option: Angels are great for very high magic damage, and don't need a ton of MAG points to be effective. Keep an eye on your angel and boxer to see if they leave the priest's aura, though.

I often use 2 of these, as it's fewer characters to manage at once, and the damage multiplication gets really big with 2 priests. Lets you worry about the other characters. The long range usually keeps them far back from the fight, so you don't have to maneuver them too often. Once they get some STR built up, their aura multiplies the damage of your other characters like crazy.

Each time you get a new long-range staff, get 1 red stone, and 1 black stone, as soon as you can. So it can help to specialize in a given style of glove, and just use others for immune enemies.ġ main Priest option: For newer players, I'd recommend you give your priest all STR, and only use long-range staffs. Some need more MAG to activate often enough. Some magic gloves need more DEX than others, to move at max speed. At least until you get better at managing multiple characters in a close fight. So it's good to use these with long range teams that stay further from the enemies, and can hit flying enemies for them. You have to micromanage them more this way, because they have less defense, and still have to fight close-in. You can specialize in physical damage ("needle" weapons), or make up for a lack of magic on the rest of your team with lightning, spark, etc. A bit of MAG, and Bullet's Cards with certain weapons, and they get very powerful. If you don't mind maneuvering the boxer a lot more, they could also be a nasty damage dealer, instead. You only have to manage them with enemies that can 1-shot them, freeze them, slow them a lot, or evade their hits. They don't need to be managed individually as often as most other short-range builds. The healing is super fast with that setup, so these tank types are very hard to kill, as long as they can land hits. Here's what I'd recommend for a newer player:Ģ Boxer options: Your boxer could be a tank, with lots of HP, fast non-magic gloves ("Mach" and "Sonic" stuff), a Black Crystal for defense, and a Vampire Card for healing (it heals you a tiny bit every time you land a hit).

Been a while since I played, but I don't think it's been updated since then. After that, you worry about what stats will make those better, as it varies. You generally specialize in certain weapons and compos, for different setups you want to try. Have you looked at the suggested builds in the wiki, and other guides in general? You don't start with stats. So don't get too frustrated if you mess up your stats, or aren't great at using that kind of team your first time. Nothing wrong with that setup! This game is partly about trying out builds.
